End of flailing season

All winter we have been busy trimming hedges but the onset of spring means an end to flailing. The bird nesting season means that this work has to be completed in the autumn and winter finishing by the end of February. The flails do a great job and make short work of large hedges. We are often maintaining new housing sites that have been built on green belt sites. To reduce the impact of the new building much of the natural environment on the effected areas is retained. Large trees and boundary hedges provide vital wildlife habitats and their maintenance is added on to our usual run of the mill gardening duties. They also make the new estates nicer places to live.
